What this app is for

Pharma by DoctorG connects a pharmacy's dispensing workflow to a patient's existing DoctorG prescriptions, so a pharmacy can verify and dispense a prescription and a patient can receive their receipt automatically.

What a pharmacy can see

When a pharmacist scans a patient's prescription, they see the prescription itself (medicines, dosage, prescribing doctor) and the patient's allergy and reaction history. No other part of a patient's medical record — diagnoses, visit notes, other prescriptions, test results — is shown to a pharmacy.

Dispense records

A record of what a pharmacy dispensed is kept against that pharmacy's own account. It is not visible to other pharmacies, and other pharmacies' dispense records are not visible to it either.

Receipts

When a pharmacy confirms a dispense, an invoice is generated and made available in the patient's app, associated with the original prescription.

Who this policy covers

Pharmacy staff using the Pharma by DoctorG pharmacy app, and patients using the DoctorG patient app's prescription and receipt features.
